We invite ALIO members and the worldwide Operational Research community
to take part in the CLAIO/SBPO2012, to be held in Rio de Janeiro, next September. This joint conference
consists of the XVI CLAIO, the biannual conference organized by ALIO, and the XLIV SBPO, the annual
symposium organized by SOBRAPO. Both conferences, whose theme is Operational Research in the
large sports events, are in honor of professors Nelson Maculan, Andrés Weintraub and Hugo Scolnik,
important Operational Research researchers in Latin America. The LIA-SGT Workshop will also
be held on this occarion.
